Q: How is the conventional phone line service in Nicaragua?

Conventional phone lines along the southern Pacific coast are very limited. San Juan del Sur still has a lottery system for conventional land lines, meaning you have to wait for someone else to give their's up before you can get one. The planned developments and properties along the Tola beaches are not services with conventional land line service. With the installation of so much wireless telephony infrastructure in recent years, you will most likely find it unnecessary to have a land line.
